What to Expect
By law, you will be expected to fill out a health history, intake form and provide your signature as written informed consent. The therapist will complete a quick interview with you to discuss what outcome you're looking to achieve. The therapist will explain what will take place before leaving the room for you to undress to your level of comfort. If after they give you a run down of what will transpire,
you decide you want something different,
please tell your therapist, this is your session. If you are new to massage, or new to Kneaded Energy, feel free to leave your underwear on. Often, being new to a therapist, the therapist may request you to leave your underwear on. We know trust is earned and takes time. You will relax easier if you are comfortable and trusting the process. You will draped in a manner that ensures your safety, comfort and privacy. Feel free to bring a pair of shorts to wear during your session. At Kneaded Energy, all glute and hip work will be performed through the sheet, unless you request otherwise and your therapist agrees.
A typical sessions starts with the client face down. The therapist starts with back work, then hip work, and then back of legs. Once face up, the therapist will work your feet, front of your legs, hands and arms and finish with
shoulders, head, neck, face and ears. -
